Letters from our clients:

To The Staff of
Friends Forever,
Thank You! On
behalf of the
Oceanside Police
Department, I
would like to
take this time
to thank you for
your outstanding
service and for
the compassion
that you showed
to me and my
family after the
death of my
police K9
partner
“Stryker”. Your
staff was very
professional and
supportive
during
an extremely
trying and
emotional time
for me. It has
been much easier
now for me to
deal with
Stryker’s death
because you gave
him such a
dignified and
respectful
service. I will
forever be
grateful to you
for the care and
respect that you
showed Stryker.
Sincerely,

I used Forever Friends Pet Cremation about 2 years ago for my cat Molly. Jacquey was so helpful. She made our first experience with a pet cremation a lot easier. We have 2 children that she was so gentle with in explaining the process and making them feel a little better. She offered us some paw prints of our cat which the kids really liked. Jacquey divided the cremains into 2 bags for the kids which we placed in the urns they chose. The process of losing their pet was so much easier since they had these little tokens and felt so comfortable with Jacquey.
I work at a mortuary in San Marcos and have referred many people for their pet cremations. I know if I ever need a pet cremation service again I will definitely used Friends Forever!

Hello
Jacquey and
staff,
I would like to
thank you for
the
compassionate
way you
handled Prince's
death. He
had been our
companion
for more than 15
years and it
brought us great
sadness to see
him gone. Your
staff members
are kind, prompt
and caring. I
will definetely
refer you to my
friends and
family.. Thank
you again.

Dear Jacquey,
We want to commend you and Friends Forever for the great
service you
provided at the
passing of our
beloved Golden
Retriever
Dusty. Your
quick response
and gentle
handling of the
details made
this difficult
day a bit easier
to get through.
We want to thank you for your compassion and kindness. Dusty
was an important
member of our
family for 13
years and we
felt that you
understood and
you treated
Dusty with the
love and respect
you would give
your own pet.
We have shared this experience with many of our friends and
family. We will
highly recommend
Friends Forever
to anyone that
has lost a pet
to help make
this sad process
a little more
bearable.
With Sincere Gratitude,
Barbara and John

Tribute to K-9 Gunnar
June 1, 2005-
November 6, 2008
Gunnar and I
were partnered
together in
January of 2007
upon my
selection to the
K-9 unit and
were certified
as a K-9 handler
team in March of
2007. Gunnar
wasted little
time in proving
himself as an
exceptional
police K-9 as
evidenced by his
first
apprehension on
April 14, 2007.
Gunnar and I
responded to
assist another
Carlsbad Police
officer with the
arrest of a
local habitual
drunk, who had a
history of
violent
confrontations
with police. The
contact
immediately
turned into a
struggle as the
drunk became
violent towards
the other
officer striking
him in the face
causing minor
injury. Given
the felonious
assault on a
police officer I
chose to deploy
Gunnar to
apprehend the
drunk. Amidst
the public
bystanders,
Gunnar was able
to focus on the
violent drunk
and apprehend
him without
further risk of
danger to public
or police. As
the drunken
subject was
taken into
custody by
assisting
Officers, Gunnar
and I walked
back to our
police car
amidst the
cheers and
congratulations
of citizens who
were able to
witness a once
in a lifetime
experience of
seeing a police
K-9 in action.
Gunnar later
made two more
apprehensions in
June 2007: one
was a track of a
suspect who had
fled from a
stolen vehicle
after a brief
police pursuit
and finally the
apprehension of
a felon who had
jumped off a
second story
balcony to avoid
apprehension,
but was later
found by Gunnar
and apprehended
when he tried to
barricade
himself in a
garage.
Words cannot
describe the
bond that is
developed
between K9
handlers and
their K9
partners and I
can honestly say
that to me,
Gunnar was much
more than just a
dog. He was a
loyal partner,
trusted friend,
and more
importantly a
member of my
family. It pains
me to think that
the last thing
he saw was the
tears rolling
down my face as
I stood
helplessly by as
he took his
final breath.
But in sorrow
there is also
rejoice as there
were so many
things to
rejoice about in
the fond
memories I have
of my friend.
I want to extend
a heartfelt
thank you to
Friends Forever
Pet cremation
services in
providing the
utmost care and
professionalism
in helping me
with the tragic
and unexpected
passing of my
partner, Gunnar.
There is great
solace in
knowing that in
his passing he
was given a
tribute worthy
of his
contribution to
our society.
Thank You,
Officer Mike

Dear Friends Forever Staff,
Mooch was a very
important part
of our family.
We never
intended to have
two cats, but a
series of events
occurred and
there he was. We
came to realize
that he was the
missing link to
our dog, Teela,
other cat, Scout
and us as well.
He brought so
much love and
warmth to our
household every
single day of
his short life.
He was only 8
months old. I
miss many things
about him, but
what I miss most
is him simply
wanting to be
with us all the
time and showing
us how much he
loved us. He
will be greatly
missed and
remembered
forever.
I can't say
enough good
things about
Friends
Forever. The
compassion and
manner in which
you took care of
the final
details was
extremely
professional.
You made me feel
at peace knowing
that Mooch was
being properly
taken care of.
The service
supplied was
beyond my
expectations and
I was pleased
with the whole
experience even
though it was a
difficult time.
I would
recommend
Friends Forever
to anyone who
loses a beloved
pet and wish to
make a hard time
a little easier.
Thank you so
much for the
kind words and
support during
our time of
need.
Sincerely,
Lisa Brubaker

Pookie” MacKenzie, bird and bunny watcher, sofa

and Mama’s boy
has today moved
on to his next
life. He had
been sick for a
long time, and
his bad days
were becoming
more frequent
and more
difficult for
him. It was a
tremendously
hard decision,
which I made
with my head,
but at the same
time my heart
wanted to keep
him around just
a little
longer. It was
my job as his
guardian to
release him from
his distress,
and he in turn
has released me
from the
constant worry
and “cat
caregiving”.
They say there
is no such thing
as an ordinary
cat, but this
little guy was a
charming and
special kitty
who warmed my
heart for 13
years. Run and
play whole and
free my silky

Dear Jacquey,
Losing our
beloved Oliver
was one of the
saddest days of
our lives. I
was so unsure
what would
happen to him
once he was
picked up for
cremation. I
worried all
weekend and
actually felt a
little sick to
my
stomach. After
viewing Oliver
at Friends
Forever I was so
relieved and
touched with
your care and
thoughtfulness
in handling
Ollie including
the rose sweetly
tucked between
his front legs
so angelic
like. The
little rose blue
rose inside his
box of ashes
truly
demonstrates how
much you care.
You made a very
difficult
goodbye a little
less
painful. Although
we will forever
miss our friend,
we are very
grateful that
our last goodbye
was handled with
respect and
compassion. You
are doing a
great service to
pet owners!
Thank you from
the bottom of
our hearts!
Here is a photo
of Oliver a few
months ago when
he was feeling
better. I was
so lucky he
picked me as his
owner 14 years
ago. He had a
wonderful life
and was a great
protector.

Jacquey,
Hello, I just wanted to say Thanks for the
service you and
your team
provides. Our
pet dog Darius
passed away some
time ago. He
passed on Good
Friday this year
and your company
has made it much
more easier to
cope with his
loss. He was the
first pet my
Fiance' and I
adopted from
Hearts from
Hounds in
Long Beach. He made it worth the drive.
I know it has been a few months since our loss,
but I still
remember him
everyday. Having
another dog
around that we
got to keep
Darius company
has made a
little more
easier to cope.
I look at his
ern daily and
remember all the
good times and
laugh at the
memories he's
made for my
family.
I have forwarded a photo of our precious dog.
Thanks,
Cartina and Pedro Ornelas

Asher La rue
I can’t thank the entire staff enough for all that you did for us during our trying time. Asher was diagnosed with Chronic Kidney failure on March 10th. After a follow up on March 24th we knew her to be terminal. Knowing arrangements had to be made we started our search and planning for her passing. After talking with Jacquey I knew we had the right company. Asher passed on the 27th March, not the easiest of days for us.
We
knew
we
had
a
decision
to
make
in
the
best
interest
of
Asher.
With
only
a
couple
of
hours
to
notify
your
staff
of
her
deterioration
and
subsequent
passing,
your
staff
was
supportive,
understanding
and
responsive.
Dan
arrived
right
on
time.
He
was
utterly
compassionate,
respectful,
professional
and
supportive.
He
explained
everything
in
detail,
even
twice
as
we
were
emotional
wrecks.
The
velvet
lined
bed
that
Asher
rode
in
was
perfect
for
her
size.
And
we
knew
we
placed
her
in
the
right
hands
as
she
left
our
house.
When
your
office
contacted
us
that
Asher
was
prepared
they
held
her
in
the
outmost
respect.
We
were
pleased
to
see
Dan
at
your
facility
and
get
the
chance
to
talk
to
him
again.
I
was
glad
to
see
Asher
wasn’t
on
some
shelf
ready
to
go
but
on a
table
neatly
prepared
awaiting
our
arrival.
Dan
showed
us
everything
and
ensured
we
had
all
the
right
numbers.
I
was
amazed
at
the
clay
paw
prints
and
how
well
they
came
out.
Never
in
my
imagination
would
they
have
been
so
detailed.
In
the
darkest
of
hours
your
company
was
a
beacon
of
light
that
helped
us
in
our
process
knowing
the
care
we
put
her
in.
I
can’t
thank
you
enough.
I
would
recommend
your
company
to
anyone
who
loses
a
beloved
pet.
I
pray
that
our
other
Basenji
lives
a
long
and
healthy
life,
but
when
his
time
comes,
Friends
Forever
will
be
my
only
call.
